Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Difference
As the two fighters met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
